A Guide to Understanding the Victoria Secret Bra Size Chart

We’ll attempt to make the Chart easier to understand by explaining the terms used in it. There are 2 important measurements used in calculating Bra Size.

1. Band Size/Bust Measurement

Band size measurement is a measurement taken around the ribcage, just under the breasts.

It is used in conjunction with the measurement around the fullest part of the breasts, known as the cup size, to calculate a person’s bra size. The band size measurement is typically taken in inches and is used to determine the band size portion of the bra size.

When you’re trying to find your bra size, the band size measurement is usually the first step. It helps figure out what size band you need. Just make sure it’s snug but not too tight when you measure and do it without a padded bra for the most accurate results

2. Cup Size Measurement

Cup size is how we determine how much boobage a bra can hold! It’s usually represented by a letter, like A, B, C, and so on. It’s determined by taking the measurement around the fullest part of your bust and then subtracting your band size.

So, for example, if your bust measurement is 35 inches and your band size is 34 inches, your cup size would be A. Pretty simple, right?
